How to Play Connect 4 Sight Words

Each player takes turns rolling a six-sided dice.

After rolling, they look at the corresponding column on the game board and select one of the words from that column to read aloud. If they read the word correctly, they place a counter on top of that word. The goal is to get four counters in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—just like the classic Connect 4 game!

The first player to connect four words wins the game, adding an element of strategy and fun to sight word practice.

Why You'll Love This Game

  • Editable Format: Teachers can easily edit the sight words on the game board, making it adaptable for different classes or individual students.
