How to Play "Dice Subtraction"

  • Preparation: Each player receives a set of counters, all the same color. If one player has chosen blue counters, the other player(s) must select a different color.

  • Roll the Dice: Players take turns rolling a six-sided dice. The dice feature numbers ranging from 1 to 6.

  • Subtraction Action: After rolling the dice, students identify the bigger number and the smaller number displayed on the dice. They subtract the smaller number from the bigger number to find the result.

  • Place Your Counter: Players place one of their counters on the spot corresponding to the result of the subtraction on the game board.

  • Continue Rolling: Players take turns rolling the dice, subtracting the smaller number from the bigger number, and placing counters on the board until all spots are filled.

  • Winning the Game: The player with the most counters on the board at the end of the game wins the round.
