—without revealing the drawing to their partner. Once the drawing is complete, it's time for the big reveal! The drawer covers up the drawing, then unveils it for a brief two-second peek, allowing their partner to make an estimation based on their quick observation.

Putting Estimates to the Test

After the brief viewing window, the drawing is once again covered up, and the partner shares their estimation of how many circles, lines, or tally marks were drawn. With both partners' estimations recorded, it's time to unveil the drawing once more and count the actual quantity. Students compare their estimations to the real count, celebrating accurate guesses and reflecting on areas for improvement.
