"4 in a Row" is a captivating game aimed at kindergarten students who are learning to recognize numerals and count dots up to 10. Played with a partner or small group, the objective of the game is to match numerals to the dots on the game board to make four in a row. With its interactive gameplay and cooperative spirit, "4 in a Row" encourages teamwork, strategic thinking, and numerical fluency.
How to Play "4 in a Row"

Setup: Print five copies of pages 2 and 3 onto colored cardstock and cut them out. Place the numerals upside down on a table. Print pages 3 to 8 on colored cardstock, laminate them, or put them inside a wipe and write pouch. If there are more than five students playing the game, print additional copies of pages 3 to 8.

Gameplay: The first player picks up an upside-down numeral from the middle and finds the matching dots on their game board. Each player takes turns picking up a number and placing it on their game board.

Objective: The winner of the game is the player who successfully makes four in a row either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
