Cut and Glue

Once students have chosen their treat, they carefully cut it in half and glue it onto page 2 of the worksheet. This hands-on activity allows students to visually experience the concept of halves while also developing their fine motor skills.

 

Complete the Sentence

After gluing their treat onto the page, students fill in the missing words from the sentence at the bottom of the page. For example, they might write "half" in the sentence "I divided my treat in 'half'" and then add the name of a friend they would like to share their treat with.
