How to Play

1. Prepare the Game: Download and print page 2 or 3 of the "Left or Right Game" and laminate it for durability. Place a spinner in the middle of the game board, or use a paper clip and pencil as an improvised spinner.

2. Gather the Players: Invite students to sit in a circle around the game board. Each student receives three items such as counters, pencils, pompoms, or matchsticks.

3. Spin and Move: The first student spins the spinner and moves one of their three items according to the direction indicated on the spinner:

   • Left: Give one item to the person sitting on the left.

   • Right: Give one item to the person sitting on the right.

   • Middle: Place an item in the middle of the circle, where it remains stuck and cannot be used again.

   • Keep: Keep the item, and nothing gets moved.

4. Pass and Repeat: The spinner is then passed to the next student, and the process is repeated around the circle. Students continue to spin, move items, and follow the directions until a winner is determined.

5. Declare the Winner: The winner of the game can be the student with the last item remaining in front of them or the student with the most items left after a designated length of time.
