• Rounds:

  • Round 2: Students aim to create the smallest 4-digit number possible.

  • Round 3: Students aim to create a 4-digit number as close to 5000 as possible.

• Gameplay: 

  • Students take turns spinning the spinner or rolling the dice to get a number between 0 and 9.

  • After getting a number, students decide whether to place it in the thousands, hundreds, tens, or ones position on their board.

  • Students can also choose to place the number on their partner’s board to strategically hinder their partner's progress.

  • Once a number is placed, it cannot be moved.

• Winning:

  • At the end of each round, compare the numbers to see who has met the round's goal.

  • The student who best meets the round's challenge (biggest, smallest, or closest to 5000) wins that round.
