What is the Read, Colour, and Write CVC Words Resource?

This resource includes 6 engaging worksheets designed for kindergarten students who are learning about Consonant-Vowel-Consonant (CVC) words. Each page focuses on 5 different CVC words, giving students a variety of new vocabulary to practice.

The activity for each word follows three simple steps:

  1. Read the CVC word, helping students recognize and blend the sounds.

  2. Colour the correct picture that matches the word. There are two picture options, and students need to choose the one that matches the word they have just read.

  3. Write the CVC word in the box, reinforcing their handwriting and spelling skills.
