How to Use "Times Table Twisters"

1. Download and Print:

   • Click the button at the bottom of the page to download the Times Table Twisters. Ensure you print the pages back to back for the activity to work correctly.

2. Prepare the Twisters:

   • Laminate the printed pages to make them durable for repeated use. Then, cut out the individual Times Table Twisters according to the guidelines provided.

3. Attach the String:

   • Attach a piece of string to the top of the Times Table Twister where indicated. This string will be used to track answers as students solve the multiplication problems.

4. Start Solving:

   • Each Times Table Twister has a series of numbers down the left side that are to be multiplied by the focus times table. The right side lists possible answers.

   • Students start at the top left, placing the string in the groove next to the first number. They then find the correct answer on the right side and place the string in the corresponding groove.

   • They continue this process, working their way down the left side and matching answers on the right.

5. Check Answers:

   • Once all the multiplication questions are answered, students place the string in the final groove at the bottom labeled "Finish."

   • To check their answers, students turn the Times Table Twister upside-down. If the string lines up with the printed lines on the back, all answers are correct. If not, students need to review their answers to find the mistake.
