How Does Turtle Multiplication Work?

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Print and Prepare:
- Download and print the "Turtle Multiplication" resource.
- Cut out each of the circles provided in the resource.
Assemble the Turtle:
- Place the circle with all the steps under the top circle.
- Cut out the small triangle on the top circle to create a window.
- Attach the circles together using a split pin so they can spin freely.
Follow the Steps:
- Rotate the top circle to reveal each step through the window as students progress through the multiplication problem.
- The steps include:
  - Multiply the bottom number on the right by the two top numbers.
  - Write a 0 in the next row and multiply the bottom number on the left by the two top numbers.
  - Add the results to get the final answer.
