Compound Word Pairs
As a teacher or homeschooler, you know the importance of teaching students vocabulary and language skills. One fun and interactive way to do so is through compound words. Compound words are formed by combining two separate words to create a new word with a new meaning.

To help your students or children learn about compound words, we are excited to offer a free worksheet called "Compound Word Pairs." This worksheet is a cut-and-paste activity where students cut out a picture of half of a lolly with a word on it. Students then paste the word next to the other half of the lolly to make a compound word.
This worksheet is suitable for children in the early elementary grades and can be a fun addition to any language arts or vocabulary lesson. It is also perfect for homeschoolers looking to supplement
their curriculum with engaging activities.

Not only is this worksheet a fun and interactive way for students to learn about compound words, but it also encourages fine motor skills and spatial awareness as students cut and paste the pieces together.
