Connect 4 - Synonyms

Connect 4 - Synonyms is a free print and play game for primary school grammar lessons. To play this game, all you need is to print out the board and spinner and grab a pencil, and a paper clip and some counters.

 

The board has a grid of words and players take turns spinning the spinner to select a word. They then find a matching synonym on the board and place a counter on the word. The first player to get four counters in a row, either up, across, or diagonal, wins the game.

 

This game is a fun and interactive way for students to practice their understanding of synonyms and can be used as a quick and easy classroom activity or as a fun game to play at home.
